Central Waterfront
Like its neighbor to the north, Mission Bay, the Central Waterfront is an industrial park/luxury condominium complex that speaks to the modern redevelopment of San Francisco. Yet like its neighbor to the west, Potrero Hill, it is also rooted in San Francisco history, with many streets (such as Michigan, Illinois and Tennessee) named after U.S. Navy battleships that once served the area. The T-Third Street streetcar provides access to AT&T Park, not to mention BART, the CalTrain depot, other MUNI bus lines and the Bay Bridge.
