Monterey Heights
Just south of Sherwood Forest, Monterey Heights is bordered by Yerba Buena Boulevard to the north and east, Monterey Avenue to the south and San Jacinto to the west. One of many small, affluent neighborhoods south of Mount Davidson, it is an interesting mix of architectural designs ranging from Spanish mission to old English country manors to modern tract housing. Like other neighborhoods in the vicinity of Mount Davidson, Monterey Heights is prone to fog, but on a clear day it offers spectacular views of the southern and western parts of the City. Prices range from the low- to mid-seven figures.
