Ingleside Heights
Ingleside Heights is a small, working-class residential neighborhood located east of Stonestown Galleria, San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Golf Club, and north of I-280. Like its neighboring district the Oceanview, many houses here are moderately priced, two-story units, with the more spacious designs (three-to-five bedrooms, two-to-four baths) in the mid-to-high six figures. Homes in the northern half of Ingleside Heights have decent-sized backyards and attractive views of the southern and western parts of the City. Given its proximity to two major freeways (both Alemany Boulevard and Brotherhood Way connect to I-280, while Randolph and Sargent Streets lead to 19th Avenue/Highway 1), the area can be ideal for those with commutes to The Peninsula.
